Who: Rising Kindergarteners and First Graders
What: Our youngest cheerleaders practice a dance and learn a cheer at practice from 5:30-6:00pm each Monday (excluding holidays) and then cheer on the sideline immediately following practice for the first and second quarters of the game from 6:00-7:00pm, including a special halftime performance at each game. Flag cheerleaders participate in ACYA Opening Ceremonies, Homecoming events, and Flag Bowl.
Where: Colt Field and Mustang Field at Murphey Candler Park
When: Season begins August 14 and includes two pre-season Monday evening practices and six regular Monday evening combined practice/games from 5:30-7:00pm. Opening Ceremonies will be August 28 and the season will conclude with Flag Bowl on October 28. All cheerleaders must attend a uniform fitting prior to the season.
Cost: $150 plus a $50 uniform fee. If you already have a uniform, you do not need to purchase an additional one.
Registration: Registration closes August 1st. When available spaces are filled, registrants will be added to a waitlist. A late fee of $50 applies after July 1st.
