ACYA Flag Football (K - 2nd Grades) - 2022

FLAG FOOTBALL (K – 2nd GRADE)

2022 LEAGUE STRUCTURE / INFORMATION

o ACYA offers two leagues – a Kindergarten/1st Grade league and a 2nd Grade league (NOTE: kids in 1stand 2nd grade also have the option to play Pee Wee tackle football).

o ACYA provides team jerseys and flags.

2022 REGISTRATION FEES

o $150, with a $50 late fee added for registrations after August 1st

o Note: consistent with prior years, once league number caps are reached, any new registrants will be placed on a waitlist.

2022 SCHEDULE

o August 21st – Coaches meeting at Colt Field (Time TBD)

o August 22nd – Coaches communicate with teams

o August 29th – Practice (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o September 5th – Labor Day – no practices/games

o September 12th – Game #1 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o September 19th– Game #2 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o September 26th – Game #3 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o October 3rd – Game #4 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o October 10th – Columbus Day – no practices/games

o October 17th – Game #5 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o October 24th – Game #6 (5:30pm – 7:00pm)

o October 29th – FLAG BOWL (9:00am – 12:00pm)

ACYA Cheer 2022

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your credit card information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Atlanta Colts.

Registration fees for Flag Cheerleading are $150.
A late fee of $25 will be applied to registrations after August 1st.
Registration fees for IL Cheerleading are $260, plus an optional $60 uniform fee. Early registration discount of $50 until May 1st. A late fee of $50 will apply after July 5th.
Registration is open starting February 14th and closes August 10th for flag and IL
No discount June 1st - July 4th
Competition Cheer is $260 plus an optional $60 fee. Early registration discount of $50 until April 1st. Registration closes May 1st at 12:00 am
All ch eerleaders must attend a uniform fitting.

Tryouts 2022: April 19th 6-8pm

April 21st 6-8pm

Sunday 4/25 11-1pm.

Tryouts will consist of learning a cheer and a dance to be performed on Sunday. Location at Colt Field.

ACYA Tackle Football 2022 (Colt D1 & Intraleague)

This registration session applies to all players who wish to play tackle football. For those players registering who wish to be considered for our Colt D1 Travel program, you will be asked to select that option during the registration process. All players who select this option will be contacted by the ACYA Colt Travel Director with instructions and information for tryouts. While registering you will be asked to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your credit card information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Atlanta Colts.

Tackle Football

Registration Fees for Tackle Football are $425 and include helmet/shoulder pads rental, game jersey, medics and video fees.
Registration is open starting February 14th. Registration closes July 31st for Travel football.
Registration closes August 1st for Intraleague.
No discount June 1st through July 23rd.
A late fee of $50 will be applied to registrations after July 23rd.

All teams and squads will require additional team dues at the discretion of the coaches and team parent.

The ACYA Board of Directors reserves the right to require that certain players move between leagues for safety purposes. Such players will be given the option of a full refund if they then choose not to participate. Unfortunately, in order to ensure balanced and competitive teams, we cannot always accommodate requests to have players placed on the same team as friends/neighbors/relatives for Tackle Football. While our goal is to have individual grade-level divisions, we reserve the right to merge grade divisions due to insufficient enrollment.
